Yesterday, Grant was playing with his Legos in his room. He was making the typical little boys noises: vroom, pow, crash, etc.
Then those noises gave way to singing.
Not just any singing.
Singing that lets momma know that big brothers have been playing SNL episodes on the DVR when Grant is around.
Singing of the same line… over and over and over and over again.
(Yet somehow, still more tolerable than when Keenan Thompson does it.)
“OOOOO-EEEEEEEE! What up with dat?! What up with dat?! Pow – crash OOOOO-EEEEEEEE! What up with dat?! What up with dat?! Vroom-Pow OOOOO-EEEEEEEE! What up with dat?! What up with dat?! Crash-bang OOOOO-EEEEEEEE! What up with dat?! What up with dat?! OOOOO-EEEEEEEE! What up with dat?! What up with dat?! ”
Yes. What IS up with dat?

Grant cracks me up!
I LOVE SNL. It’s not as funny these days, but still funny.
I think you need to get a clip of Grant singing his Lego Soundtrack! ๐

Ok…I switched computers to watch the clip and it worked! Is it a Robert Dinero clip from SNL?

His funny personality combined with what he is learning from his older brothers (and SNL) is a deadly combination. LOL ๐

I just stumbled on to your blog because of the house rules subway art (two boys, ball in the house, you get it…) and laughed myself silly – I can always tell when DH has been letting the boys watch SNL, too, because this song is their favorite to sing over and over and over and OVER… second only to what I have insisted be renamed the “Junk in a Box” song. ~shaking head~
