I don’t have a designated work area for my crafts and projects. I saw this one here at Under The Table and Dreaming and was jealous.
Gonna keep it real here. I know that there are a couple of my readers who are under the illusion that I have all my s*** together and that I have everything under control. I certainly have a lot of it under control, but not all of it.
Certainly none of it when it comes to my “side” of the garage. (Or should we say, “my sliver of the garage”…)
Yep. This is my part of the garage, which I share with a fridge, a full size freezer and 2 pantries. (Of course, it could be argued that I drag all of my craft crap into the house and encroach on community space all the time, so it evens out.)
I have piles and piles and bins and bins and stacks and stacks….
I even have things hanging from the ceiling!
So while I was completely jealous of the fab space at Under The Table And Dreaming, I was also inspired. I promise, I will do something to better organize this space.
There.
I’ve made it a public proclamation.
Now I have to do it or I’ll be publicly embarrassed.
Thanks guys.
I love it!!! My craft room is a complete wacko mess right now. I can’t stand to even look at it. You always make my day a little brighter.
Love ya girlie!

At least yours is in one place, mine is scattered all over the house! I.will.work.on.it…I chant this everyday and nothing happens! I love your honesty about everything! So fun to read your blog!
Thanks for keeping it real. I just spent about two days (on and off) trying to organize my space and I can’t even really say that it’s done. I wonder if it is ever done…
You have no idea how happy this makes me!
I feel like I just watch that episode of Friends where Monica reveals her junk closet. Whoa!
Um. I see nothing wrong? LOL!
My “area” is a table. That’s it. And I have sh*t piled to kingdom come on it!
I don’t even have a craft space. I have bins in my garage full of random stuff, rubbermaid shelves in the hall closet, and random craft stuff in the office. I need to try to find a space for myself in the new house.
I have stacks and stacks of “organized” stuff in my studio and every bit of it is important. I don’t know what I have but it’s important for sure. Ha!!!!
And I drag a lot of it into the house to work on it all the time…art projects that is…in my dining room right now as I type! Sigh!!
Everything is fair game when it comes to a project..right??
Hugs

ummm…I don’t understand. we call that organized in my house……..

This looks like the space of a creative person to me!! 🙂
I love you and this makes me feel so much better about everything! Always good knowing I am not the only one without it all together
You can do this!!
I just started following your blog! I love yours and Mandi’s blog over hate Mail! Anyway, yeah my “craft area” is confined to what I can cram in my closet (along with all my husband’s and mine clothes, china, etc.). Generally my bedroom is in a state of disaster because I just pull everything out and craft away in there! Oh dear, the things we do for our addictions…:)
