Best. Store. Ever.

December 17, 2008 1 Comment

I just got back from a Fresh & Easy shopping trip. I love that their sale items are fresher and more beautiful than what normal grocery stores have on their best days.

Today, for $100, I got

  • 9 pounds of fresh jumbo shrimp
  • 18 filets of fresh Atlantic salmon
  • 12 pounds of tangerines*
  • 2 pounds of real butter
  • 3 half gallons of Lactaid, the most expensive milk in the world
  • normal, misc groceries like peanut butter, sour cream, etc.

For $100!!! I love this store!!

* The tangerines will be gone before Christmas.

The stores are only out west. Darn it. On our east coast trip I found the store I will be shopping in. It’s called Bloom. It looks kind of like your stores. 🙂 Oh, that and I’ll finally have a Trader Joe’s near me. Aw, life is good. 🙂

I am SO glad I didn’t run over that old man in the parking lot. He had much wisdom to share.
