I didn’t think sodium was such a problem.

It became obvious to me today that Grant learned a new phrase and was just chomping at the bit to use it…

Grant: “Mom, may I have popcorn, please?”
Mom: “Sure buddy. Thanks for asking nicely.”

3 minutes and 15 seconds later…

Mom: “Grant, your popcorn is ready!”
Grant: “Does it have salt on it?”
Mom: “It comes with some salt already on it.”
Grant: (with both hands up in a warding off gesture) “Oh, no thanks then. Salt freaks me out.”

oy.

Whoa, what a coincidence! Kolby just started saying this “That is freaking me out.” I couldn’t figure out where he was getting it, until I told him the other day something freaked me out. So now, everyone and everything, FREAKS HIM OUT. : )

Where do they come up with this stuff? You couldn’t make this up, if you wanted too. ~ Robyn

I remember when my oldest (who is 7) came home a while back and used that phrase for the first time. It cracked me up. I really had to control myself to not actually laugh at her. poor thing…she was so cute 🙂

I guess being freaked out by salt is better than eating it by the spoonfuls?
