I have 4 boys…

Scene: Helping Grant with his homework.

Mom: “Let’s read the directions… you can choose from this list of words and draw a picture of the word you choose. Here are your choices: mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, grandpa….”

Grant: (incredulous) “Sister!?!? What’s a sister?!??”

Ha! Maybe you should give him one, just so he’s clear. Just to demonstrate. 🙂

That is too funny. I’m in the same boat as Shortmama, I’ve got girls girls girls around here. My almost 4 year old keeps asking for me to have another baby…”A boy one this time mom!” Mind you I have an 8 week old so no new babies for at least a while. Guess they just want what they don’t have huh!

The definition of sister depends on whether or not you have one and may or may not include words like pest, advice, borrowing, and cool.

LLOL! My boys refer to their canine and feline little sisters… there certainly aren’t any human ones.

The boy definitely needs a sister…I have an adorable two year old up for grabs if you don’t want the hassle of being pregnant again. She doesn’t sleep much, she is going through a hitting phase and she is not house broken but she gives great snuggles and can really belt out If You’re Happy and You Know It. Never mind, I think I’ll keep her.

I’m reading the comments and it seems the majority think you should give him a sister. Let me be the voice of reason….DON’T DO IT!
