Ha! Jack’s in that stage too. I’m glad to know it’s not just him. His school picture this year was terrible!

It’s either that, or they purposely make weird faces!

Oh thank goodness it’s not just me! Both of my girls give me a little of that right now, though my 4 year old is by far the worst. I just stare at her and go “wha?”

I remember! I would say or do about anything to make them have a real smile.

    Good luck with that!

Oh no! My six year old is at this stage and it drives me NUTS. The four year old just won’t do them at all. He turns around and runs. Grr.

    Ha! He is so adorable!

When Layla does it I call it the fake smile. She fakes the smile so largely her eyes close.

Why is it that everything you post about Grant, I totally know what you’re talking about…sitting here nodding my head. I get the grimmace-and-bare-teeth smile too. I try to coach him into smiling NATURALLY, but it doesn’t work.

He’s such a cutie!! Love his western wear!

I had to share – William brought his school pictures home today – the retakes we had done because he wasn’t smiling the first time – and he’s displaying the ‘grimmace’ – I laughed & thought immediately of you 🙂
