At a wedding, the kids always steal the show.

May 16, 2011 20 Comments

Grant was in a wedding this weekend.
He was uber-excited to wear a tuxedo, but was disappointed it wasn’t the kind with a bow-tie.

He was really, really cute… So he had to put up with lots of cheek pinching and hugs from people he didn’t know.  (I thought the fact we had to put him in Nike socks at the last minute because we forgot to pick up black dress socks made him all the cuter.)

Grant thought the wedding reception was super fun.  First of all, they had Hershey’s Kisses at the table… and all the Sprite he could drink… and sparkling apple cider for toasts.

But best of all might have been Liani the Flower Girl.  I have never seen a 6 year old flirt with a boy before, but my-oh-my, she was hilarious!  She was definitely running the show.  They played Rock-Paper-Scissors, Hide & Seek, and basically ran all over the reception.

We’re so proud of our cute boy.
