Grant has a discerning palate. Who’d a thought…?

November 8, 2011 9 Comments

I made a little dessert to take to a friend’s house for Halloween night.
It was very, very, very sweet.
Too sweet for me, but I figured the boys would eat them.

Grant had one.  A little while later I offered him another one.

Grant: “No thanks.”
Me: “Don’t you like it?”
Grant: “No, it’s fine… it’s just that I can still taste the first one.”

I’m surprised he turned down sugar, but I totally agree.

I believe that Grant is a boy after my own heart. You should bring him to North Carolina to visit us–he’d get along great with my guys! 🙂

How do you keep a straight face when you have to get on to him for anything? I bet it’s very very hard. He’s so funny!

Thanks for linking up with us and giving us a shout-out!!

I want to know what you made too! I have yet to meet a dessert that is too sweet for me. Me and my local See’s candy gals are on a first name basis. Good for Grant!

So trying to keep up with the 30 days of thankfulness. There are so many things, but focusing on one and really thinking about it is a challenge, esp. when teenage daughter is honing her backtalk/sassy/rolleyes/sigh loudly skills. Sigh.
