Happy New Year! I can’t believe how 2012 has flown by!
I thought it would be fun to look back and see what were the most viewed posts on The V Spot this year. There were a couple of surprises…
#10. A quick update for your outdoor cushions.
If you can wrap a present, you can update your outdoor cushions…
#9. Vinegar is fabulous for so many things!
Who doesn’t love Duck Tape? Or Houndstooth? Put them together on a pumpkin and it looks great!
#6. Shabby Chic Flower Pots
Dress up a plain terra cotta flower pot with some polymer clay, spray paint, and a bit of melted candle wax…
#5. Faux Rust Effect
This fun effect is easy to achieve with a little salt and some spray paint.
#4. How to extend the life of fresh herbs.
Fresh herbs make everything taste better… here’s a great way to keep them fresh a bit longer.
#3. DIY “Spooning” Artwork
This was a huge surprise… it was simply Grant, watching the birds in the backyard, and the hand drawn journal that he kept of his “observations.” A larger site got a hold of this and sent it out in some sort of a newsletter. My more popular posts average between 5,000 and 10,000 views, but this one has been viewed more than 18,000 times. Go figure.
#1. How to store and preserve fresh produce.
You have had a busy year for sure. Your success should be no surprise as you have worked really hard here and it shows. Happy New Year to you and your family Viv.
Wow! Impressive following! But then YOU have Grant! 🙂
I was down in your area last week. Our daughter and grandies live in Eastgate GG.
Keep up the good work!
That Grant is just a little scene stealer. The boy can’t help it 🙂
Wishing a wonderful 2013 for you and your sweet family!!
Happy New Year hun!!!
Hugs
SueAnn
