It’s been a while since I had a Grant story for you. Lots of little things happen daily, and I usually just end up Instagramming them (#grantism) but I had to share his latest obsession with you: Rodents.
I was going through Grant’s school papers in his backpack and found one of his math tests from last week. He did not complete the test. When questioned, he said he “ran out of time” to finish it. However, this drawing was on the back of it…

It definitely leaves me wondering about how he budgeted his time for his math test.
I can’t figure out exactly what is not to scale. The legs in relation to the bodies? The drawings compared to real rodents? I am not happy that he isn’t completing his assignment, but I do love that he is so interested in animals. (We’re going to work on doing both.)
I also found this paper where the students were supposed to “build a paragraph” about a sport. Not a chinchilla.
I had no idea that chinchillas were endandered. Does that mean they aren’t good pets for people with allergies…?
Do your kids get fixated on something and they try to make it fit into all of their school work, regardless of the assignment? What do you do about it?
This could be my favorite Grant post yet. The "not to scale" made me LOL!
"Not to scale" hahahah Funny boy.
My question is: does Grant want a chinchilla as a pet? 🙂 LOL
Uhhhmmm chinchillas hop 7-10 mph???? Sounds like a sport to me. The teacher isn't paying attention.
