Grant goes back to Disneyland! (And Disney inspired crafts)

June 5, 2013 1 Comment

Back in February we took Grant on a special surprise Birthday Weekend at Disneyland.  Even though we’re less than 30 minutes from the park, he had never been.  We planned, we schemed, we gave him the day off from school, we stayed in the Fabulous Disneyland Hotel, we all had a great time… until he got the flu.  We had to cancel Day Two in Disney’s California Adventure, but we assured him that we would be back to finish the trip.  That day is this Friday!

I am going to be instagram-ing, tweeting and facebook-ing the whole time, so please follow along with us using the hashtag #grant2disney.  It was SO cool to see Disneyland through Grant’s eyes, and I can’t wait to really explore Cars Land with at California Adventure.

My friend Sara at Mom Endeavors is a Disney expert.  She has done several review of the parks, including an in depth review of Cars Land when it opened last summer.  She can also tell you how to get a free DVD to plan your next Disney vacation.  She’s cool like that.

(Please Pin from the original source.)

She can also tell you how to put together a fabulous activity backpack for your kids to keep them entertained on the way to your Disney vacation.

How about creating a special autograph book for when your kids meet their favorite Disney Characters…?

My friend Jessica at Mad In Crafts also has some fab Disney ideas.  She is the Disney Theme Party Queen.  She did a really cute Cars themed birthday party with some very inventive food and games.
She can show you how to make a perfect Mickey silhouette without an electronic cutting machine so that you can make this cute banner…

How about some super cute homemade Mickey Ts for party favors?

A Mickey Mouse wreath?!?!  Really?!  Cool!

Cute ideas, right?
(Be sure to follow along with us on Friday!)
