Beginner crochet pattern for a fun and easy coffee cozy.

December 19, 2013 Leave a Comment

My friend Rhonda is a crafty genius.  She can do a little bit of everything, including crochet things.  I cannot crochet.  I think I have a mental block about it for some reason.  Maybe I had some sort of yarn trauma in my childhood I have yet to come to terms with.  I don’t know.

She keeps saying that it’s easy to crochet and that anyone can do it, even an all-thumbs person like me.  I haven’t previously believed her.   Well, she shared this beginner crochet pattern for a DIY crocheted coffee or tea cozy, and I actually think I might be able to do it.  (Which means you totally can!)

I love the steaming little cup of tea that she embellished the cozy with too.  For the full tutorial and the promise to be easy enough for the “yarn challenged” please check out Mrs. Greene.
