Creepy DIY Halloween Candlesticks.

October 23, 2014 Leave a Comment

I love Halloween and although I haven’t been able to do any new projects this year, I still love to bring out the decorations from previous years.  The other day I posted an Instagram of these creepy candles and I had a few comments and emails about them.

Instagram candles

These are the easiest things to make.  Ever.  (Like, ever.)

You’ll need white taper candles and a little stubby red votive (or some other red candle.)

Creepy Halloween Candles

Set the white tapers into a candle holder, the take the red candle and light it.  Carefully hold the lit, red candle over the tapers and let the melting red wax drip down the white tapers.

The end.

PS: This craft is so ridiculously easy that even a child could do it…. but please don’t let a child do it because there is fire involved.  (Are you happy now, over-cautious-internet-hysterics-with-no-common-sense?  Good!)
