Coming soon: The Good, The Bad, and The Stupid.

September 3, 2009 18 Comments

The boys are back in school. Grant is doing fine so far (Kindergarten is such a big deal) but I am shaking my head at my 7th and 11th graders.

A post on that is coming soon. I’ll get that up as soon as I’m finished driving all over town to return PE shoes that weren’t needed (Oh! Mom! I forgot I don’t have PE anymore) find headgear that was left at the orthodontist’s, get more school supplies, etc.

Grant the 5 year old hit the nail on the head with this little gem:
“Do you know what I call Conner when he does something dumb? Con-nerd.”

Do you know it’s illegal to commit suicide? Or some crazy law like that…so that if you don’t succeed and already feeling pretty sucky, then you are in trouble with the law? Geez! Makes ya want to try that much harder, huh?! Stupid.

The start of school is one of the busiest times of the year!! Good luck returning those shoes:)

I called Mr. an Asstard yesterday. I don’t know if I made it up or if it launched from the vault, but if Grant uses the word I get credit. (He gets the washing-out-of-the-mouth.)
I used to introduce Mr. as my step husband.
    Irrelevant, I know.

My daughter used to call son, Rob, “Nimrob”
And I’ll have to let Kelly know too, that I always introduce my hub of 44 years, “This is my first husband.”

I guess this is the point; but how are they gonna fine you after you are dead? HAHAHA. Yeah, dumb comment but I had to say it. I must love overkill? I’m sure my kids think I do.

Con-nerd. Good boy. My boy tells me the different versions of our last name he hears and we have to tell him it’ll get much worse. Sad fact of life. You’ll have to guess our last name though.

Which is much different than being clever about it…
