A guy was coming to work in our yard this morning. It was my day to help in Grant’s class so I brought our dog, Corsa, into the house so she’d be out of the guy’s way. Because I wouldn’t be home to watch her, I put her in the kitchen and slid the little gate shut in order to corral her in there.
She has a sweet face and a loving disposition.
But she can be a stinker.
When I walked back in the house, she met me at the gate with this look on her face.
This is what she does when she knows she did something she wasn’t supposed to. This is what guilt looks like.
She will hang her head in shame,
and then she will look up with you with her face that says, “I gave in to my carb cravings again, and if you come into the kitchen and look closely, you will see that I ate a loaf of sourdough bread that you accidentally left on the counter… sorry.”
What scares me is when she comes to me, making this face, and I can’t immediately see what it is she did wrong…
Uh oh!
hahahah…that face is AWESOME!!! and I think she is laughing just a little bit at you too.
Whew. I thought for sure you were going to say “… you will see that I ate a guy who was working in the yard. Sorry.”
Omagosh, that dog is SO laughing at you. What a cutie! Pain in the rump? Yes. But cute.
Haha! I was just thinking, Corsa sounds a lot like Grant.
I LOVE that cute face!
I can’t believe she tells on herself…HA!
So funny….she told on herself!!!
A face only a dog lovin mom could love……
My blog post today was about my puppies also….
I love your dog.
And I love that she is a stinker!
Awww…she needs a snack every once in awhile:)
This is HILARIOUS!!!! OH my, I just had a good giggle over these pictures!!! Guilt written all over, you’ve got that right!! And I love stinkers more than what do you call good dogs?
That last picture looks like she is doing a “neener neener” kind of!
What a face!
Oh that’s funny. She’s like another one of the kids.
My dog “smiles” like that every time we come home. I have always just thought he was happy we were home but maybe I have been mis-reading his facial expressions! Maybe he’s telling on himself!
Bad doggy!
That face! Funny and a bit scary all at the same time!!
I read an article once that said that dogs don’t feel “guilt”. Every time my pup poops in the house, he tucks his tail, hangs his head and hides under the table. What do you call that Mr. Dog Researcher??

Oh, Viv, How did you get him to pose that way? Seriously. That last one is scary and hilarious.
๐
That my dear is a face only a Mother could love!
JK!
I have a similar picture of my darling Jewel after she ate the adorable heart shaped, colorfully iced Valentines Day cookies the girls and I made a few years back. Mine was completely gone, my theory is that she was working under cover for my DH. He was truly able to say what Louis Vuitton cookie? Did you want me to buy you a new bag for V-day? I had no idea!
You gotta love ’em!
I love the expressions you’ve captured on your sweet girl’s face!
THAT FACE IS SCARY!
one of my kitties makes a nasty face when he is about to do a dookie.
That face is a hoot! Belle gets these droopy eyes and she won’t make eye contact. That’s how I know she’s done something she’s not supposed to. Dogs are worse than kids sometimes!
Hahaha! Love the dog. ๐ Such a sweetheart. Great blog, by the way!
Oh, hehehehehe, this one is a keeper. One of your best blog’s ever!! Love the face!
THAT’S a look of contrition?? Yikes.
OMG…too funny. Catching up on all your posts.
I’ve been a terrible blogger lately. ๐
what a stinker. But funny! And totally adorable ๐
