This morning we noticed that Someone had taken a pencil and written on the panes and trim around our sliding glass door.

Someone signed his name.
When asked why he did this, Someone shrugged his shoulders and stated, “My brain is not very good.”
At least pencil erases! My cousin’s daughter did something similar only her weapon of choice was a black sharpie! SHe colored all over a new couch and the hardwood floors!!

Cant blame the guy for being honest though right? LOL
What a booger. My brain is not very good? It’s like an illegal immigrant saying, “my english is not very good.” So funny, that little guy of yours.
Someday that signature will be worth something mom!

THat is the sweetest excuse I have ever heard….I would have melted right on the spot….
That is so funny. I pays to be honest.
Grant cracks me up!
Oh my! I can’t believe he wrote his name. haha. My brother got mad that my parents painted my room when we were little so he took it upon himself to scribble all over my wall with a sharpie.
….they never repainted it!
My brain isn’t very good sometimes too…I’m writing that one down. I may use it. Isaiah did a whole Spongebob mural on my Granny’s bedroom wall, while he was staying with her one day. I was getting ready to really get on to Isaiah, and my Granny was like “it’s no big deal, Sis.” NO BIG DEAL? I would have been beat within an inch of my life when I was little, but now 25 years later, it’s no big deal. Funny how that works.
Gosh, when you write your name you can’t blame it on someone else…HA!
Too funny!
Oh these kids!!! Don’t you wish you COULD figure out why they do these things?
One day when our youngest was in the lower grades, I heard A LOT of noise in the kitchen where he and his little buddy were SUPPOSED to be having a snack.
I walked out there in time to see them HACKING on the edge of my COUNTER with BUTCHER KNIVES.
When I asked THEM why – – – I didn’t even get as intelligent of an answer as you did!!!
Brain damage – – – that’s what I think.
Dang, it must be impossible to get upset with this little guy. I love that he signed his artwork. ๐
LOL! Grant and my Jack would so be friends…this summer Jack carved his name in my mom’s $1000 coffee table!
Ugh – William was ‘penciling’ up stuff just last week! He lied about who did it though & hadn’t signed his name ๐
My brain’s not very good either Grant, maybe that’s why I draw.
Ah, but his penmanship is excellent! My oldest daughter once carved her name into our dining room table with a fork. :/
don’t you love it when they share their art work in this manor! I have red pen all over my white kitchen cabinets. Kids.
love the grimacing smile on the post before…my son so does that too and all my sisters kids did it. It’s too funny until you’re trying to have a nice family pic taken. HA!
All artists have to sign their work ๐
xoxo ~Lisa
You are doing something right. He took responsibility for his work!
at least he can spell and thats a prett dern good excuse..
Nice. Ha!
If he’s gonna be signing his name to his graffiti, he’s going to be in lots of trouble.
When I was young my Mom was taking a nap and I used a red permanent marker to draw all over the white walls…and I signed my masterpiece with my sister’s name, but I was only 4 so I misspelled it…my parents ended up buying me wallpaper you could color in and they had to paint the walls brick red ๐
So, maybe your son is an emerging artist who just needs an outlet ๐ Good luck!!
