Hug them? Smack them? I can’t decide…

July 2, 2010 19 Comments

There are times in every mother’s life when she feels under appreciated and misunderstood. Times when she just thinks that no one notices what she does during the day. It appears that my boys do indeed notice.

My 3 oldest rode their bikes to Target the other day, allowance money burning holes in their lizard-filled pockets. They came home with whatever items interest boys… and a card that they spied and immediately thought of me.

Since it is not my birthday, they had to improvise a little bit…

I opened it up to find:

My favorite line is Devin’s query: We don’t need to remind you to buy wine, do we?

Turkeys! While laughing my ass off, I tried to decide whether I should smack them or give them great big hugs.

I opted for the latter.
