I have never been one for Halloween decor. I was always more of a “harvest time” Halloween decorator… but I sure am having fun putting little scary details around the house this year.
Both Conner and Mitch told me they think I’m “going overboard”. Devin probably thinks it, but doesn’t say it, and Grant takes it all in stride.
I did this to a picture in their bathroom.
I trust you have all seen or read The Shining by Stephen King and I don’t need to reference this any further. (And of course you know what it says when you see it in the mirror….)
Add a little bit of water to red acrylic paint. Prop up your picture and then paint your letters directly on the glass. Let them drip a little bit, then lay the picture flat so the “drips” dry the way you want them.
After Halloween, the paint will wipe right off with a scrubby sponge and Windex.
Creepy, but awesome!
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy…
Redrum redrum!! 🙂
Love it.
Redddddruuummmm! Redddddruuummmm! Eek! haha I love it!
Ugggg just reading it totally creeps me out!
ooh I have never seen The Shining but I get the idea! You crack me up. I was just thinking of you about an hour ago when the 12-year-old was trying to get some creative ideas out of me for a Halloween costume. I’ve always been TERRIBLE at Halloween costume ideas. I thought: “I’ll bet Vivienne could help you…”
