OK, so during the fall and winter, when you have over-ripe bananas, you make banana bread or muffins or something, right…? But what do you do with them in the summer? Make popsicles, of course! Chocolate-Peanut Butter and Banana Popsicles, to be specific.
These were super easy and fast too! In fact, it took longer to get these treats released from the molds than it did to blend the ingredients and pour them into the molds to freeze!
You will need to just sort of eyeball these ingredients, but really, you can’t go wrong. In a blender, combine 2 over-ripe bananas, about a 1/3 cup of peanut butter, 1/3 cup of chocolate syrup, about a cup of vanilla ice cream and about a 1/2 cup of almond milk (not shown.) Blend away!!
These were really smooth and yummy and were just the right balance of flavors.
Also? Grant loved them… and that’s usually my measure of success.
Enjoy!
Looks so tasty… you have been coming up with all sorts of delicious food latey!
