Last minute gift idea: Movie Tickets.

December 16, 2014 Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BIC® for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

You know those moments when you need a last minute gift?  Movie tickets are an easy fix and one size tends to fit all.  Everyone loves a movie!

You can still give a pretty gift, even though it might be a last minute one. You can usually pick up movie gift cards at any grocery store (and CostCo frequently has great deals) Pick up a box of movie candy (also at any grocery store or even at the Dollar Store) and wrap it with the gift card.

Make a cute invitation style tag for your gift. It’s super easy.

I think the font Budmo Jigger looks like marquee lettering, so I printed out “Admit One – Let’s go to the movies!” on some basic cardstock and took a BIC Mark-It® permanent marker in Fandango Pink to create little dots in the shape of a ticket around the text.  Punch a hole in the “ticket” and tie it onto the gift.  Easy!

BIC Mark-It® permanent markers available in 36 packs of fine or ultra-fine bold, vibrant colors or the 8 pack of metallic colors.  (Do the math: that’s 44 great colors.)  I used #FandangoPink for my #BICMerryMarking project, but you can do whatever you like.  By the way, the bold, fade-resistant ink is low odor and acid free, which means creativity is the only high you’ll be on.

Do you know friends who are looking for a little holiday inspiration? I have a few blogger friends I know could do something fabulous with these wonderful markers… (Bombshell Bling, Craft Moore and Madigan Made would have great ideas for BIC’s Month of Merry Marking!)
