I think I am really leaning towards a soft and mellow color palette for Fall. (I had this year’s Christmas colors picked out during last Christmas: white, cream and soft golds.) So when I saw the beautiful projects Carolyn from Homework did with corn husks, I fell in love. The color and the texture is exactly what I’m being drawn to this year.
Carolyn took a cheesy Dollar Store Pumpkin and added texture and warmth. I love this look! She explains how she did it HERE.
Then, because she had so many corn husks left over, she was able to make these:
These simple corn husk napkin rings are perfect for fall. Carolyn will walk you through this easy project HERE.
Honestly, everything that this woman does is beautiful and elegant, yet totally simple. Love her blog. Here’s another little project that I think is just the coolest. She layered contact paper to make these Faux Wood Leaves.
How cool are these? Put them in a little bowl or make a garland out of them. Carolyn wrote things that she is thankful for. You can see how she made the layers HERE.
