I don’t usually do much for Valentine’s Day, as far as decor goes, but last year I actually did go ahead and tackle the Asymmetrical Mantel from Hell to create this simple valentine mantel.
I love to use these chunky old wooden frames again and again. Behold the power of spray paint! Seriously, there isn’t much that spray paint can’t make better. I liked this bold pop of red for Valentine’s Day, and the little “love” pennant hanging in the frame was my favorite part. The larger frame is filled with scraps of paper from another project, (and it was a Halloween project, at that!)
