In case you missed it: Weekly Wrap-Up

April 12, 2014 Leave a Comment

I am very excited to tell you that I will be speaking at the SNAP Conference in Salt Lake City this month!    I will be talking to other bloggers about how being able to tell a story helps to create good content, can it help you grow your blog and can help to create loyal readers.

Writing is an outlet for me, and the writing process can be cathartic.  I’ve shared some deeply personal things here, like the death of my ex-husband, or how I developed an unexpected and treasured friendship with my husband’s ex-wife.  I’ve also shared funny stories, such as the time my BFF and I almost got ourselves killed 6 times in one day in Mexico, or simple every day things like loopy women who talk to me in grocery stores.

SNAP is pretty much my favorite conference.  As a blogger it is a lot of fun to attend and to be with “my people” and as a blog reader, you can find lots of amazing blogs to follow and be inspired by.   I am also very happy to be representing the fabulous Duck Brand at the conference.  You know they make some of my all time favorite craft supplies, right?

There’s been a lot to do around here, getting ready for SNAP and trying to keep up with work.  Here’s what happened on the blog this week.
