Dear Totino’s…. do you think we’re idiots?

April 14, 2011 26 Comments

Dear Totino’s,
If these are the Kids In America, then the kids in America (and their parents) need a major ass-kicking.

I hate this commercial. HATE! Click here to see it.
(I can’t embed it… sorry.)

If anything? This commercial serves as a marketing deterrent.

A parent in America

I don’t know the ad but I’m still offended by the bear with the TP pieces on his butt.

    Omagah. That is freakin’ horrible.
And I know what Judy is talking about…the Charmin commercial. That thing pisses me off too.

The Charmin commercial doesn’t bother me – I think it’s kinda cute.

This commercial on the other hand? One of MANY reasons why I watch very little LIVE tv – I watch just about everything off our DVR so that I do not have to view commercials like this, thus raising my blood pressure.

Good God, you’re right! I had some cousins like that and they did need a major ass kicking. Just think how perfect the world would be if all the kids were white, middle-class, microwaving, junk-food eating little snots–Ugh!

Well I’ve never seen that commercial but I’m hungry for some Tortino’s now. They are super tasty. Too bad they’re no good for you.

Yeah, it ranks up there with those annoying Manequin commercials by Old Navy…I wanted to shoot the tv everytime they came on!

Unfortunately, this looks like reality in that everyone seems to be wrapped up in their own virtual world these days. And it’s not only teens.

I’ve only seen that one ONE TIME…thank goodness.

The one that is driving me batty right now is the Old Navy Commercial for dresses with a guy in a white shirt singing.

My husband and I sit here and rant about all the stupid ass commercials out there. To this day I won’t buy any Herbal Essence products because of the stupid orgasmic ads for them. Scream!

First, heads would roll if my kids plopped up on the counter (but I have 2 boys..the daughter is 22 and should know better). Those Old Navy commercials are just stupid…my opinion, and the Charmin commericals annoy me, but for an entirely different reason…at least people have stopped asking me if they can squeeze me and where Mr. Whipple is. (not to mention Charmin is spelled wrong….it’s an S instead of a C! LOL)

I have never seen that commercial or eaten a Tortino’s pizza roll and after seeing that commercial I’m glad I don’t support them!

Also, having 2 teenage daughters I can tell you they do not act like that!

Tortino’s, that was an epic fail. Fire your ad agency asap!

Every time we see a commercial, but hubby yells it at the tv. ICK!

How about any pharmaceutical commercial? Love it when the spell out the laundry list of side effects…who in their right minds would want to take risk any of that?!?

Oh, and any commercial with teens in it these days induces instant annoyance.

If my teenagers had their music on that loud in their ears I’d throw their ipods out the window…. never mind the sitting on the kitchen counters, then I’d throw their butts out the window.

Did you notice when they say we are the kids in America, they don’t use minority children. They are known for not using or wanting to use any person who isn’t White in their ad.
