Going Batty: Making over a bare wall for Halloween.

October 16, 2012 5 Comments

I have a wall in my dining room that is under-done 11 months of the year… but not in October.

Grant loves to help me with the placement of the bats.  (We like to make them look like they’re swarming towards a corner of the room.)

This couldn’t be easier.  Cut some bat shapes out of card-stock…

… a little double-sided tape and the discerning eye of an 8 year old and you’re good to go!

On a related note, I welcome any and all suggestions for what I should do on this wall for the other 11 months of the year.

wow, love the bats and the layout is super cool. Love the way they trail up and over to the adjacent wall. Ideas for wall, you have a large wall. I might be tempted to do a patterned wall paper or a photo collage.

I’ve heard of beautification, but never “BATification”! This looks awesome.
